Dear Coconut Palm Family,
I am excited and honored to welcome new and returning Mighty Bengals to our Coconut Palm community. We are now a proud ‘B’ school under construction and working our way towards an ‘A.’ As such, we are putting renewed effort into growing and expanding all that Coconut Palm has to offer by placing a greater emphasis on our Agriscience and Medical Biotechnology magnet programs, offering new and additional electives, and hosting new clubs for greater student engagement beyond the typical school day. We will also continue hosting the TALENTS after school program and providing extended learning opportunities to best support the whole child and engage families and community members.
Safety and security are top priorities at Coconut Palm. Throughout the summer, we have worked to refine our policies and procedures to foster safe, positive, and highly effective school days. Our custodial team has worked tirelessly to prepare the building for a new year with a fresh start.
I am thrilled and grateful to be able to serve the Coconut Palm community and to be of service to all stakeholders.
We are looking forward to continuing to host family and community engagement events and are proud to announce that we have reinstated our Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA). We hope you will consider joining our PTSA and/or our Educational Excellence Student Advisory Council (EESAC) to make your voice heard as we truly value all stakeholder input.
