Dear Coconut Palm Family,
As we stand on the threshold of a new school year, it is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to all our students, families, and community members. The 2024-2025 school year promises to be a time of continued growth and learning for our students, throughout all grade levels.
At Coconut Palm K-8 Academy, we are committed to nurturing a learning environment where ideas are planted, and mindsets are grown to achieve our goals of another successful school year. We believe in fostering a culture where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential and where education extends beyond the classroom walls. As such, we continue our efforts in growing and expanding all that Coconut Palm has to offer by continuing to place emphasis on our Agriscience and Medical Biotechnology magnet programs and various electives, providing various extend learning opportunities and hosting new clubs for greater student engagement beyond the typical school day to best support the whole child and engage families and community members.
We are proud of the strides we have made as a school community and are eager to build on our successes. Our dedicated faculty and staff are preparing for an amazing school year that caters to the diverse needs of our students.
As we embark on this journey together, we invite you to be active participants in your child’s education. Your involvement is key to their success, and we look forward to your support and collaboration. We are looking forward to continuing to host family and community engagement events and are proud to announce that we have reinstated our Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA). We hope you will consider joining our PTSA and/or our Educational Excellence Student Advisory Council (EESAC) to make your voice heard as we truly value all stakeholder input.
Safety and security continue to be a top priority at Coconut Palm. Throughout the summer, we have worked to refine our policies and procedures to foster safe, positive, and highly effective school days.
